The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences offers departmental scholarships to students within the school based on academic performance. Annually, over $100,000 is awarded thanks to our donors.
Scholarship Eligibility:
Incoming freshman - must be admitted to Auburn University, be enrolled in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences or the Department of Biosystems Engineering curriculum in forest engineering, and have an ACT of at least 28.
Currently enrolled students - must be enrolled in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences or the Department of Biosystems Engineering curriculum in forest engineering, and have an unadjusted cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Transfer students - must be admitted to Auburn University, be enrolled in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences or the Department of Biosystems Engineering curriculum in forest engineering, and have an unadjusted cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Scholarship Retention:
A student must earn at least 12 credit hours with a semester GPA of at least 2.5 with no grade lower than a ‘C’ for each fall/spring semester during and immediately prior to the scholarship.
Scholarship Application:
To apply for a scholarship, complete the online application before February 1st. Scholarships are awarded competitively and are based on a student’s grade point average (GPA) and funds available.
