Objectives

The Auburn University Student Chapter of the Southeastern Section of the Society of American Foresters is also called the Forestry Club. The Forestry Club was established as a University Club in 1948, and became the student chapter of the Society of American Foresters in 1970.  The Chapter strives to advance the science, technology, education and practice of professional forestry and to promote fellowship among students interested in forestry. Membership consists of regular members (students and others who are members of the Society of American Foresters) and affiliate members (nonmembers of the Society of American Foresters who are enrolled in the School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences). We cordially welcome any freshmen and sophomores who are enrolled in pre-forestry or wildlife to join. Meetings are held at lease once per month during the regular school year.
